Color Grade
Understanding what diamond color means helps in choosing the right diamond. Interestingly, the diamond color evaluation of most gem-quality diamonds is based on the absence of color. GIA uses a system of grading diamonds color from D to Z; as well as having a separate system for colored diamond stones.

Clarity Grade
Diamond clarity refers to the absence of inclusions and blemishes; to better understand diamond clarity, we must first understand how diamonds are created. Natural diamonds are the result of carbon exposed to tremendous heat and pressure deep in the earth. This process can result in a variety of internal characters called inclusions and external characters called blemishes. The scale is used for clarity is as follows: Flawless, which is the highest, and then Internally Flawless, followed by Very Slightly Included, Slightly Included, and Included.
